We want every visitor to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or voice control.
Our standard
This site is designed and tested against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the technical standard referenced by the Department of Justice's 2024 web accessibility rule under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
What we have built in
- A skip-to-content link and a single main landmark on every page.
- Semantic headings in order, descriptive link text, and labeled form fields.
- Text and interface colors chosen to meet AA contrast ratios.
- Visible keyboard focus outlines and touch targets sized for mobile use.
- Alternative text on meaningful images and empty alt text on decorative ones.
- Reduced-motion support for visitors who prefer less animation.
- Layouts that reflow for small screens and zoom up to 400 percent.
